We at Good Tone Guild™ Double Reeds want you to have the best experience possible playing the Oboe and Bassoon!
Our reed makers are professional players, who have degrees from some of the best music schools in the country and who have real world experience as full time orchestra members.
Our reeds are guaranteed:
- to have a beautiful sound throughout all registers - no honky low notes, no bright and strident high notes
- to allow controlled attacks, even in register extremes
- to help you achieve excellent endurance
- to be extremely well in tune
- to be very comfortable

- to be the right strength for you! We have six available strengths:

Our prices are extremely moderate and we try our best to keep our turnaround time within 14 to 21 days. However, at certain times of the year, the wait can be longer. Be sure to check your email after you have ordered. Meg (our reed maker) responds with a personal email and a rough estimate as to your wait time. If you need your reeds quickly, we offer an optional Rush Service. With the Rush, Meg will get your reeds out within 24 - 48 hours.
